The Beehive Carob Syrup (ġulepp tal-ħarrub) is produced and quality packed in Malta. This syrup is mainly made from Carob Tree and from other natural products.
Nowadays, it is still used as a natural medicine against common flu. The syrup is made from the fruit (also know as carob pods due to their shape) of the carob trees.
