Stukku ta Ghawdex



An old Maltese word deriving from the Sicilian ‘Stucco’ meaning a pate of vegetables and herbs in oil. This Gozitan Stukku is perfect for dips and spreads and excellent to flavour your roasts and seafood dishes.



Stukku with Vegetables Ingredients: Tomato Pulp, Tomato Paste, Sunflower Oil, Red And Yellow Peppers (12%), Green and Black Olives, Basil, Sundried Tomatoes, Salt, Sugar, Acidity Regulator: E 575, Garlic, Chilli, Oregano.
Preparation: Cook 500g of dried pasta or rice in boiling water + pinch of salt. Dilute contents of this jar with 3 spoonfuls of warm cooking water. Pour over the cooked pasta or rice and stir well.
