Description

This meat-based tomato sauce has become part of Maltese cuisine. For decades, Maltese housewives have appreciated the convenience and great taste of this ready-to-use sauce. Minced beef, diced carrots and onions are first shallow fried; thick tomato juice is then added and infused with red wine and a special blend of spices and herbs.

Tomato Juice*, Minced Beef (9%), Carrots (8%), Fried Onions (5%), Sugar, Modified Maize Starch, Sea Salt, Sunflower Oil, Flavourings (contains CELERY), Mixed Spices and Herbs, Red Wine, Antioxidant: Ascorbic Acid. *Made from 90g of tomatoes per 100g of product.
