Mayor Butter Beans Save 8c

Description

Butter beans are harvested in the late Summer months. After removing their pod, they are immediately air dried to facilitate storage and double-cleaned to remove any impurities before being imported in Malta. To regenerate the dried beans they are soaked overnight in water and blanched to soften their skin. Butter beans are hotfilled in cans and topped up with our special brine recipe. Once cans are sealed, they are cooked to perfection in small batches until complete sterilization is reached.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool dry place. Once opened refrigerate and use within 3 days.
