Grand Vin De Hauteville - Shiraz Cabernet of Gozo
According to tradition, in the year 1090 Count Roger De Hauteville gave part of his Hauteville family pennant to the Maltese people to use as their national flag. This was given in return for their courage and warm hospitality.
A full-bodied, fruit packed blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on the idyllic Mediterranean island of Gozo. This barrel matured robust wine should be served at room temperature and preferable allowed to breathe for one hour. This rich red wine goes particularly well with red meat, rabbit dishes, pasta and game.
