Antonin Noir - Marsovin 75cl
Antonin Noir is produced from the Marnisi Estate near Marsaxlokk in the South of Malta is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Besides againg for over 12 months in oak barriques, it is essentially the Merlot grape, being the dominant variety in the blend that marks the distinctive fruit driven character of this full-bodied wine making it very approachable even in its early years. Oak nuances of vanilla with hints of cedat wood and chocolate combine well with fruity notes of red cherries and prunes on the nose. It is smooth and round in the mouth with ripe, vevety tannins and a pleasant long lingering finish. Excellent with game, grilled or roast meats and dishes with rich sauces.
