Made in Malta - Kinnie
Kinnie was originally developed by Simonds Farsons Cisk in Malta in 1952, as an alternative to the innumerable colas that had proliferated in Europe since the Second World War.
Kinnie is a unique tasting, alcohol-free, natural, refreshing beverage. Its golden amber colour, and the fact that it is made from bitter oranges and a variety of aromatic herbs, lend this beverage a bitter taste which is an excellent thirst quencher. This drink is ideal on its own, particularly with a slice of orange. It also mixes excellently with a number of alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
Almost overnight, these distinctive characteristics made it Malta's favourite soft drink, loved ever since by the local population and tourists alike. Due to this popularity and evolving lifestyle trends, a Diet version was introduced in 1984, and this now forms an integral part of the Kinnie brand.
