Zeppi s Anisette Liqueur - 70cl
Zeppi's range of traditionally known Maltese liqueurs including the Honey Liqueur, the Bajtra Liqueur, and the Anisette Liqueur. Today, these liqueurs boast a popularity with tourists and locals.
From early times, anisette liqueur was considered as a rare delicacy served in special occasions like weddings. Made from a recipe that has been brought down from generation to generation, this liqueur boasts a concentration of aniseed blended with aromatic herbs. Aniseed and fennel (grows locally in the wild-“buzbiez”) are the main ingredients of the blend. This is collected from the wild around the year and contained is special rooms in the factory. The liqueur is then produced by a special secret process that produces a unique local taste.
It can be enjoyed neat, or mixed as a long drink with cola, water, tonic or lemonade. A dash of Anisette from Zeppi’s is also perfect when added to black coffee a unique Maltese tradition.
